Shovel headed garden worm (Bipalium kewense)

Arlington Organic Garden Club: Creature Feature: Shovel headed garden worm (Bipalium kewense)

Hello,

I read the October 2003 article on the shovel headed garden flatworm (Bipalium kewense) by Angie Brown (http://www.aogc.org/newsletters/newsletter0310a.pdf). I am a student at Illinois State University in Normal, IL. I am interested in studying the biology of this invasive species. I would like to request to anyone who finds any specimens of this flatworm to send them to me. Of course, I would happy pay for any shipping expenses.

If you are interested in learning more about this species, the University of Florida has a detailed webpage with references to other literature.

Thank you!
(I omitted the period between ilstu and edu in my e-mail address)
