If anyone would like to dig some spiderworts, there are bunches growing between my back fence and Crockett Street here in Arlington. I have been told by the city that I have seven days to mow them down. I hate to have to do that but I am tired of having this battle with the city. If anyone wants them just let me know and bring soil to fill in the area. My back fence is 180 feet and about a third of the area has spiderworts growing. They come up every year and are huge this year because of all the rain. It may not be the optimal time to move them but the city is threatening to mow them down unless I do.
I will be happy to give directions if anyone is interested in digging some or all of them up.
