Tarrant County is split into two zones. The eastern side (including all of Arlington lies in Zone 8a (coldest winter temperature 10-15 degrees F). The western half is considered to be in Zone 7b (coldest winter temperature 5-10 degrees F).

All of Dallas County is in Zone 8a.
