October Potluck and Business Meeting

Thursday, October 28 is our annual business meeting and potluck. Bring a dish to share and join us for a great time.
The club will provide a ham (and I hear that a pot roast is also in the works), so please bring side dishes or desserts. We could use some vegetarian dishes for the herbivores among us.
Items on the agenda include:
1. Nomination & election of new board members
2. NULGS subcommittee
3. Club support for Community Gardens of Arlington
4. Club support for the Children's Garden at Fielder House
The feast begins at 7. See you there!

Community Gardens of Arlington

Members of the ACC (Arlington Conservation Council), AOGC (Arlington Organic Garden Club), and other local organizations have joined together in an attempt to get a community garden going here in Arlington.

A steering committee for Community Gardens of Arlington has been formed, and has held several meetings already. We have a preliminary site chosen for the first garden, and are working hard to make this happen in time for spring planting.

We have started a blog for CGA members and other interested parties at communitygardensarlington.blogspot.com.
